In our college we have guidelines and techniques in place in the way to respond to accidents, incidents, disasters and condition and procedures for revealing and documenting these incidents. If an accident does happen, and it brings about an injury to a child, the teacher can do all she/he can to assist the child concerned. The school retains first aid bins in various locations around the university such as within our key stage one building we have an initial aid package in the setting kitchen, as well in the breakfast club room. Key level two building has a closed fist aid container stored in the first aid room and one out of the school business office, every member of staff know in which these are retained. At lunchtime a member of staff could possibly get the first-aid boxes and move all of them into a local classroom therefore if any accidents are occurred personnel can get towards the first aid boxes. There are many members of personnel at the school who are first aid qualified there are lists over the school declaring what associates of staff are first-aid qualified. There will always be a member of staff in site who has been competed in first aid during school several hours and for after school night clubs..

When a child has a accident on the setting and requires first aid then a relevant competent member of staff uses the first aid kit which can be easily accessible and regularly checked out. When an incident occurs we all fill out accident sheets which details what has took place where and what treatment was given. All of us keep one type in the office to get the schools record and a single letter has to father or mother informing all of them of what accident the kid has had.
